Casey and David co-own a business. However, she revealed during the season that she is also a licensed helicopter pilot. She explained, “The business is a drug-testing clinic… The helicopter thing was me trying to find something hard to do, kind of to prove to yourself type of thing, like, you know?” Based on her social media, she is the CFO of Texas Drug Screens.

What happened to Casey’s mom?
During the season, Casey got candid about losing her mom at a young age. She told her trial marriage partner, Luke, “Up until my parents’ divorce, best childhood any kid could ever have… My parents divorced when I was, like, seven, and then my mom died when I was 13.”
She later explained, “It’s been a while, but it doesn’t make it any easier as the years go on. And then a stepmom I had, she was like a clean freak. We had to be clean all the time. We were scared all the time. I was just constantly anxious and nervous. Because of that, I just have a hard time relaxing.” Casey did not reveal how her mom died.

How did Casey and David meet?
Casey and David met online when he slid into her DMs over five years ago. Casey revealed to Netflix, “One of her favorite traditions is their secret ‘4L’ signal. Whenever they’re busy and cross paths during the day, David flashes four fingers and then an L with his hand. ‘It’s short for ‘For Life,’ she says. ‘We love each other for life.'”
