Yes, Zack and Benji are still together. While we’ll have to wait and see what they decide regarding their future plans, they’ve proven with recent social media activity that they’re currently going strong.
During Season 3 of The Valley, Zack’s roommate moved out of their apartment, and Benji moved in with him so they could test cohabitating. Prior to that, they were in a long-distance relationship, with Benji in Toronto and Zack in L.A.
How did Zack Wickham and Benji Quach meet?
Zack and Benji met on Grindr in 2023 after he finished filming Season 1 of The Valley.
“If we ask him, we met at the opera, because he likes to fake it,” Zack joked on the What’s the Reality? podcast. “We met on Grindr. I told him, I was like, ‘If you want to date me and whatever, you’re gonna have to know, I’m not gonna ever lie.’ If we even tried to, it would come out, and it would be an article, so why do it?”
Are Zack Wickham and Benji Quach in an open relationship?
Yes, Zack confirmed to Out magazine in 2026 that he and Benji are in an open relationship. He said this has helped them open up healthy lines of communication while dating long-distance.
“As long as you are openly communicative with each other and it’s hurting no one, you can set your own rules,” Zack explained. “We don’t have to live in a heteronormative society. I’m glad I can talk about it and inspire others to have open communications with their partner.”
He clarified that he and Benji go through phases of being “open or not open” in their relationship. “The biggest challenge is the acceptance that there will be other people that will come into our relationship,” he admitted. “If I want to know what’s going on, you have to tell me. If I don’t ask, I don’t want to know. You have to set up your own rules and it’ll develop on its own.”
