Who was Harry Jowsey’s dad?

Harry’s dad was an artist named Paul Jowsey. Paul was from Yappoon, New Zealand. He died when he was 70 years old. On Almost Adulting in 2021, Harry shared a window into their relationship, revealing, “I think my dad’s got many really, really good characteristics. He’s again my biggest idol when it comes to business and his mind in that sense and how hard he hustled to get to where he has.”

On December 4, 2024, Harry posted that his dad had died with photos of his younger years, writing, “Love you Dad, I miss you. I’ll catch you on the other side.”

What happened to Harry Jowsey’s dad?

In an interview with Harry, Us Weekly revealed that Paul died through elective medical assistance. The outlet wrote, “After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, the patriarch of the Jowsey family was told he only had a few months to live and elected to pursue medically assisted dying in New Zealand.”

Who is Harry Jowsey’s mom?

Harry’s mom, Melanie, was Paul’s second wife. They got married in 1995 in Perth, Australia. Harry told Us Weekly, “Their love was the funniest, and having those final moments with [my dad] and talking about my mum and love was special.” Losing his father made him realize, “Holy s**t. I gotta be serious about this, because I would hate to lose my mum and not have someone.” Paul’s first wife was Nadia Smith.
