Yes, Barbaro and Garfield are still together. They were photographed (above) leaving an after-party for One Night Only in New York City on August 3, but have not spoken publicly about their relationship.
Still, Barbaro had nothing but praise for Garfield when discussing their upcoming film Artificial. “I mean, he’s one of the best actors of his generation, our generation,” Barbaro told InStyle in an interview published August 5. “I just learned a lot from his approach to the material and to developing character, and I felt very fortunate to get to witness that in real time.”

Their decision to stay tight-lipped about the romance is not surprising, as Garfield told Esquire in 2024, “I won’t ever speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever.”
When did Monica Barbaro and Andrew Garfield start dating?
The relationship seemingly began at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. While it’s unclear how the two met, they were first spotted out together in January 2025. After another sighting at a London play the following month, People reported that they were “quietly” dating.
The couple’s first major public appearance together was at Wimbledon in summer 2025.
Do Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro have a child?

In his 2024 Esquire profile, Garfield, who is now 42, admitted he wasn’t sure he wanted to be a dad. “I’m already a tired guy. I don’t want to be a tired dad,” he explained.
He previously told GQ in 2022 that he used to feel “guilt” about not having children when most of his friends started expanding their families. “Releasing myself from the societal obligation of procreating by the time I’m 40 has been an interesting thing to do with myself,” Garfield said. “It’s more about accepting a different path than what was kind of expected of me from birth. Like, ‘by this time, you will have done this, and you will have at least one child,’ that kind of thing.”
