Madelaine Petsch celebrated her recent birthday surrounded by her loved ones, including her boyfriend Tyga.
On August 18, the 32-year-old Riverdale alum shared a video of her party to her Instagram Story. As two cakes were brought out to Petsch, the rapper sang “Happy Birthday” into a microphone as Petsch smiled and cheered. “Make a wish,” the rapper told Petsch, before she blew out both sets of candles.
The rare appearance of Tyga on Petsch’s social media feed comes after she sparked engagement rumors earlier this summer. She posted a carousel of photos from her friend’s wedding in Italy, and in one of them, the actress sported a large diamond ring on that finger. In her grid Instagram post from her birthday celebration, Petsch could again be seen wearing the ring in the last video.

Though Petsch and Tyga don’t often appear on each other’s Instagrams, they’ve been spotted together several times since they were first linked in February 2025. In April of that year, Petsch reportedly posted Tyga for the first time when they attended Coachella together, though it has since been deleted. In the months prior, the rumored couple attended a Los Angeles Lakers game, as well as a Vanity Fair party, which they exited holding hands. Most recently, they were photographed in the stands of SoFi Stadium for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals in July.
Prior to Tyga, Petsch dated rapper Travis Mills for three years before their split in 2020. The actress then found a new romance with music manager Anthony Li, whom she revealed she was dating in an August 2023 Instagram Story. According to People, she wrote, “It’s been a cute 9 years of knowing you. But even cuter 1 year of dating you.” Petsch occasionally showed love for her then-boyfriend on Instagram until their split in 2024.
Tyga, on the other hand, was last in a relationship Avril Lavigne. They broke up in June 2023 after three months together. He dated Blac Chyna from 2011 to 2014, during which they welcomed son King Cairo. They split in 2014, shortly after which Tyga entered his most famous relationship with Kylie Jenner, with whom he has an eight-year age difference. They went public with their romance after Kylie’s 18th birthday.
