Amid their 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3 run, 90 Day Fiancé stars Thaís Ramone and Patrick Mendes are going through a major legal battle off-camera.
In May, TMZ reported that Patrick had filed for a divorce from his wife, Thaís, as well as sole legal custody of their three-year-old daughter, Aleesi. Now, he’s claiming that Thaís not only cheated on him, but also allegedly threatened him with a knife ahead of her May 22 arrest. Thaís has not addressed Patrick’s claims publicly as of publication.
According to a new legal document obtained by TMZ, Patrick told the court that he learned Thaís was allegedly having an affair in April. When he found out, she kicked him out of the house.
The report also claims, “A couple of weeks after that, Patrick says Thais threatened him with a knife … while holding their three-year-old daughter.” On that day, Patrick called the police, and Thaís was arrested for domestic battery. Previous legal reports claimed that Thaís had slapped Patrick, but a knife was never mentioned.

While Patrick had previously filed for sole legal custody of Aleesi, the new document reveals that he is now seeking joint custody with Thaís.
Thaís and Patrick are currently starring on 90 Day: The Last Resort, TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé spinoff focused on couples going through rough patches who are challenged to dive into couples therapy in order to decide whether to recommit to their marriage or call it quits.
While Thaís has found herself in the middle of the drama, caught in a major feud with Shekinah Garner, she and Patrick have taken great strides in their relationship. Patrick’s brother John McManus even came to Thornbury Castle to clear up his issues with Thaís.
Could this mean that Thaís and Patrick recommit on-screen and then face an even bigger falling out off-camera? We’ll have to wait until the Tell All to find out.
