Fernando Lindez is on his way to becoming one of Prime Video’s go-to leading men for romance adaptations. Between last year’s Tell Me Softly and its upcoming sequel, the 26-year-old actor will star in The Last Sunrise, a movie based on a book by After author Anna Todd. He plays Spanish local Julián opposite Maia Reficco‘s Ry in the summer romance.

It turns out Lindez does indeed have a cinematic love story in real life. At Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest earlier this summer, Lindez told influencer Brad Martin the story of how he met his girlfriend.
Lindez said he felt a soulmate connection with his girlfriend right away, telling her “I love you” a day after they started dating. “We met in Milan. I was working there, she was working there, too, and we met there in the city,” he said. “I texted her because I already knew who she was, and immediately since that day, we had this super connection where we felt like we were in love.”
Lindez didn’t identify his girlfriend, but based on social media posts, he’s in a relationship with Ainhoa Larretxi. She was in Milan in the fall of 2025 and appeared to soft-launch their relationship on her Instagram that October. He first started leaving flirty comments on her profile that December. That same month, they hard-launched by showing his face in her 2025 recap post.

Who is Ainhoa Larretxi?
Lindez and Larretxi met while modeling in Milan, but like her boyfriend, Larretxi was born and raised in Spain. Per her professional bio, Larretxi was scouted on Instagram when she was 14 years old, and two years later, was on the cover of an issue of Marie Claire. She’s modeled for brands like Reformation, Free People, and American Eagle.
