How Many ‘Love Is Blind: UK’ Season 3 Couples Got Engaged? The Record-Breaking Number
What To Know
- Season 3 of Love Is Blind: UK saw a record-breaking number of engagements among 30 singles.
- Six couples’ journeys were featured on-camera.
- More than double that number of couples got engaged and continued their relationships off-screen.
Something’s in the air in the pods — across the pond!
Season 3 of Love Is Blind: UK premiered on August 19, with six couples putting a ring on it after meeting sight unseen in the classic Love Is Blind pods. While these six couples continued to explore their connections in Ibiza, Spain, and later back in London, with their friends and families, the series executive producer Nazleen Karim and series editor David Cheesman revealed to the UK’s Mirror that an unprecedented number of unaired engagements came out of the pods.
Aside from the six couples chosen to undergo the rest of the experiment on-camera, eight couples explored their relationships off-screen. This makes a total of 14 engagements coming out of the Love Is Blind: UK Season 3 pods! With 30 singles involved, that means only two people did not get engaged this time around.
According to the executive producer, choosing which couples to follow was no easy feat. As Karim put it, “When there are more engagements than we can physically follow, we have to make difficult editorial choices. We’re looking for a range of different relationship journeys and stories that together capture the full experience of the experiment.”
This season, the bosses chose to cover Ajay and Ciara, Faye and Jack, Joseph and Francesca, Yasmin and Jordan, Sophie and Taylor, and Cuba and Ryan. (Check in with the couples here to find out who’s still heading down the aisle, and who’s called it quits so far!)

“It’s never an easy decision, and we wouldn’t want to diminish the love those other couples have formed,” Cheesman explained, looking back at all 14 couples. “We’ve never had as many as 14 engagements, which is why we ended up following six couples this time as opposed to five.”
Karim continued, “Not being selected isn’t a reflection of the strength of a relationship— many couples continue exploring their connection once they leave the pods.” Right now, it is unclear which, if any, off-screen couples are still together today.
Fans have speculated that Chevanique, who found herself caught in a love triangle with Joseph and Franchesca seemingly until the end of filming, could have been the one single woman at the end of the season. That said, only time will tell which unaired couples formed and if any of them are still going strong.
