Soap veteran Steve Burton is back on the General Hospital set, but he always makes time for his loved ones. Amid his return to Port Charles as Jason, the actor returned to a place very close to his heart, with his wife and family joining him.
Steve and his wife, Michelle Burton, shared new photos from their trip to the Montage Laguna Beach, which included shots of Michelle’s two kids, Lilah and Hannah, and Steve’s youngest daughter, Brooklyn. The blended family enjoyed some incredible meals and fun in the sun.
“Forever our favorite staycation @montagelaguna,” Michelle wrote on Instagram. “We’ve made some of our best memories here over the years, including celebrating our wedding, and every time we come back, it just makes us grateful for all the life we get to live together.”

The location of their staycation is incredibly special to the couple. Steve and Michelle had their 2025 wedding reception there. The couple’s kids, whom they share with previous partners, were all part of the wedding party.
Steve and Michelle love to bring their kids along on family adventures, including boat trips, afternoon tea in Nashville, and a fun outing at Disneyland. Earlier this year, when Burton took a break from GH, he stressed how important it was for him to be spending quality time with his new wife and family.
The couple has also taken getaways where it’s just the two of them. Steve and Michelle have been on frequent trips to the East Coast to spend time with Michelle’s mother. The Barbeque Showdown alum has chronicled the amazing family moments and even poked fun at Steve for all the things he “broke” at her mom’s house.
Steve also spent time in the kitchen with Michelle’s mom and helped her with Sunday Sauce, a family tradition. “@1steveburton automatically became the co-captain of Sunday Sauce. #momsfavorite,” Michelle captioned a video of her husband hard at work making dinner.
