‘Love Is Blind’: Who’s Still Together After the Season 9 Weddings?

[Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers from Love Is Blind Season 9.]

For some of the Love Is Blind Season 9 couples, Denver proved it wasn’t exactly a romantic hotspot. During Episodes 10 and 11, two unexpected couples called it quits just days before their wedding, causing fans to predict that this could be the first season where no couples say “I do.” Now, we finally know if the fans were right.

For its ninth season on Netflix, Love Is Blind took on Denver, Colorado, or “Menver” as the cast members called it, because in Denver, the “painful” dating scene is “not about the women, it’s what the men want.” Looking to switch up their quest for love, 32 singles took to the iconic Love Is Blind pods, ready to find lasting love.

During the first episode drop, six couples got engaged sight unseen, but only five traveled to Baja for a romantic getaway. As Pod-tober comes to an end, we’ve rounded up all of the engaged couples that formed (and split!) throughout the season. Be sure to check back here for an update on your favorite Season 9 couples during next week’s reunion!

Anton and Ali on Love Is Blind Season 9
Netflix

Ali & Anton

Relationship Status: Split

Anton and Ali (or Antonine, as Anton called them) were the first couple to meet each other in person after quickly bonding in the pods. During Episodes 1-6, Anton and Ali’s relationship appeared to be one of the strongest, mess-free ones of the bunch. However, on their wedding day, Ali said no to marrying Anton after he said, “I do.”

The second drop captured a glimpse of what life would look like as a married couple with both Anton and Ali working nights, which had Anton thinking they’d have mimosas every morning. However, meeting one of Anton’s friend definitely caught Ali off guard. According to Anton’s bestie’s girlfriend, Anton was quite the party animal, regularly going to strip clubs only months prior.

In an interview with Swooon, Ali said she was “alarmed that Anton was sharing it as if Joe was the instigator, whereas it seemed like it was very much both of them.” Episodes 10 and 11 proved that Anton’s drinking habit may be a bit more than Ali can handle, as she noticed that two twelve-packs and half a bottle of tequila were missing from their fridge.

At their wedding, Ali told Anton, “I can’t be your wife. I feel like the person that I fell in love with in the pods isn’t the person I’m going to experience in real life.” During an exclusive interview with Swooon, Ali revealed that Anton may not have been as forthcoming with his vow as she had thought, as he confessed he didn’t know what he would do if she said “I do” as well.

Jordan and Megan of 'Love Is Blind' Season 9
Netflix

Megan & Jordan

Relationship Status: Split

Leaving the pods engaged, Megan exclaimed, “Sparkle Megan just got more sparkle!” After Blake left the experiment, Megan fell hard for tatted single dad Jordan. As soon as Megan met Jordan face-to-face, the elated duo sat down to look at photos of his son, Luca.

Looking forward to meeting Luca, Megan told Jordan, “I think that the stars are all aligning with that. Like, I’m stepping in to be his mom. I mean, I feel very honored to be that person for him.” Smiling, Jordan responded, “You know, we need you.” However, it appears that Luca will not be seen on camera anytime soon.

The second drop of episodes highlighted Megan and Jordan’s different lifestyles, with Jordan declining Megan’s offer to buy Luca expensive LEGOs and other toys for their first meeting. During the Pod Squad reunion, Megan also came face-to-face with her early connection, Mike Brockway, with whom she bonded over their wealth and health-driven lifestyles. This led fans to question whether Megan and Jordan can prove that opposites really do attract, or if they are just too different to make it work.

However, Episodes 10 and 11 showed a different side of their relationship, as Megan finally got to meet Luca off-camera. At the tux fitting, Jordan made it clear that he is all in on marrying Megan. Check out our interview with Jordan and Megan to learn more about Megan’s first day with Luca.

Unfortunately, Megan and Jordan did not make it to the altar as Megan called things off the day before the wedding, due to a lack of what she called “compatibility.” During an exclusive interview with Swooon, Megan walked us through her mindset during the breakup. She shared, “I was kind of in the mindset like, if this isn’t a hell yes, then it’s a no. And I think there was one day where I caught myself saying, like, well, I can always get divorced. And I think that was very telling for me that this just wasn’t the right move.”

During the finale, Jordan came to the conclusion that he regretted introducing Megan to his son. He told Swooon, “It sucks we put him through that. That’s one of my biggest regrets about the whole experiment.” He later added, “I won’t be introducing him to anyone anytime soon, for sure.”

Edmond L. Harvey, Kalybriah in episode 904 of Love Is Blind.
Netflix

Kalybriah & Edmond

Relationship Status: Split

It seemed like Kalybriah and Edmond were completely locked in on each other from Day 1 in the pods. However, meeting the other couples — and finding out how far they had gone physically — had Edmond questioning everything.

Kalybriah asked Edmond, “Does it bother you that we’re the only couple that didn’t have sex?” At first, Edmond didn’t believe that it was an issue Kalybriah wanted to wait until marriage, until she revealed that she’s had one night stands. He told her, “I’m just always the f**king nice guy.”

Back in the real world, Kalybriah was thrilled to meet Edmond’s mom, who quickly welcomed her as a daughter-in-law. However, Kalybriah was quick to call out Edmond for comparing their relationship to Nick and Annie’s at the Pod Squad get-together. After telling him to “admire don’t compare,” Kalybriah questioned, “This is the place to bring that sh*t up at?”

In Episode 11, Kalybriah and Edmond went snowmobiling. However, they continued to argue about accountability. She told him, “I can’t force you to want to grow up.” Later, she added, “The guy I fell in love with in the pods, the guy I was talking to for the first couple days in Mexico? That’s the guy I love.”

However, by their wedding day, Kalybriah knew that Edmond deserved someone who was 100% sure, and that wasn’t her. While Edmond said “I do,” Kalybriah called things off, telling Edmond, “My no doesn’t mean that I don’t love you. It doesn’t mean that I don’t accept you.” Seeing as Edmond and Kalybriah walked out hand-in-hand, maybe there is hope that they will have reconciled by the reunion.

Annie and Nick on Love Is Blind Season 9
Netflix

Annie & Nick

Relationship Status: Split

During Episode 10, Nick broke things off with Annie, telling her that their final argument caused him to reach his breaking point.

While Annie and Nick both found themselves caught in love triangles during their time in the pods (Annie dated Brenden, while Nick dated Kait), the couple declared their love for each other and got engaged sight unseen.

After a deeply awkward moment in the Men’s Quarters when Nick announced that he was getting married in front of Brenden, the duo met for the first time. Seeing Annie, Nick proclaimed, “It’s not butterflies. It’s not fireworks. I’m soaring right now. I’m on cloud 9. No, cloud 900.”

In Denver, Nick and Annie addressed their different living situations, with Nick preferring the mountains and Annie needing to live in the city for work. However, they quickly agreed to spend time in both places as long as it meant they could be together. Reuniting with their Pod Squad exes, Kait and Brenden, seemed to further prove Nick and Annie to be one of the strongest couples of the bunch. As Annie put it, “I 100% know I made the right choice. I’m grateful for my choice, I’m grateful for Nick.”

Later that night, Annie told Nick (once again) that she thought she loved him more than he loved her, causing an argument about their commitment. The next day, Nick told Annie, “Getting to the altar, that’s not a happy idea for me.” While Annie tried to tell him no, he concluded, “The wedding is not something I want to do.”

Madison and Joe on Love Is Blind Season 9
Netflix

Madison & Joe

Relationship Status: Split

According to Joe, attending a tux fitting put everything into perspective, ultimately causing him to call things off with Madison before they could make it to their wedding day.

In the pods, Madison and Joe built a strong foundation, but everything changed at the couples’ pool party in Baja. After Madison confronted Joe about consistently “talking over [her] to talk to someone else,” he retreated to their room and encouraged Madison to stay with the rest of the squad. Once she got back to the room and woke up Joe, things took a dramatic shift.

As she reunited with her fiancé after the pool party, Madison was shocked to find Joe speaking incoherently and asking multiple times where she was. Madison asked if he had drunk too much. Joe fired back, “Are you coming in hot?” While one argument did not cause them to instantly split, it spelled trouble for the couple.

During an exclusive interview with Swooon, Madison revealed that Joe acted completely different on and off camera. She even went as far as to ask him, “Are you trying to make it look like you don’t like me on camera?” Check out our full interview with Madison here.

While Madison and Joe forgave each other for their rough night in Baja, Joe ended up backing out of their engagement after running away from his tux fitting. He told Madison, “He felt completely detached.” As Joe put it, he would be “miserable” if he ended up saying “I do.” Yikes!

Kacie and Patrick on Love Is Blind Season 9
Netflix

Kacie & Patrick

Relationship Status: Split

While Kacie and Patrick made it through engagement day, Kacie woke up the next morning rethinking her decision. Even though she told Patrick that it wasn’t a breakup, stating, “I just can’t do the TV show anymore,” it was clear that Kacie was not looking to continue their relationship back home. She told viewers, “He’s not a bad looking guy in any sense, but he deserves somebody that is so obsessed with him… I understand how that is about to look.” (Find out Patrick’s reaction here.)

While Kacie and Patrick splint before they travel to Baja, Patrick reunited with his first connection, Anna, at the Pod Squad reunion. Even though Patrick told Anna, “If you stayed, we would have went all the way,” the duo parted as friends.
