If there’s anything we learned from Off CampusSeason 1, it’s that anything in Elle Kennedy‘s book universe is fair game. The first season of the Prime Video adaptation doesn’t just cover Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett’s (Belmont Cameli) The Deal — it also includes parts of Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie’s (Mika Abdalla) The Score. Then, it diverts from both stories by giving Hunter (Charlie Evans) a major role, even though he doesn’t become a lead until Kennedy’s Briar U spinoff.
When we asked showrunner Louisa Levy if she would explore the Briar U stories in the show, she said, “I would love that. I don’t know what I’ll be allowed to do, but I would love to keep doing this for as long as people keep watching.” She added, “There are four core Off Campus books. The Legacy is wonderful, but doesn’t sustain its own season. And then we have the four Briar U books, so in success, we could do all of them.”
Considering Dean and Hunter’s beef revolves around Dean’s sister, Summer, who gets her own book in the Briar U series called The Chase, there’s a good chance that we’ll meet at least her sooner rather than later. So, Swooon has picked out an actor not only for Summer, but for the rest of the Briar U couples, from The Risk‘s Brenna and Jake to The Dare‘s Conor and Taylor. Costa D'Angelo as Colin "Fitzy" Fitzgerald
We saw this one on social media first, so we can’t take credit for Costa D’Angelo as The Chase‘s Fitzy, but we can’t picture anyone better for the nerdy jock. After Tell Me Lies, D’Angelo has proven can do the quiet, mysterious vibe, which makes Fitzy stand in complete opposition to Summer’s bubbly personality. What’s more, D’Angelo will appear on another hockey-centric show for Netflix. Just look at him in his hockey gear, and tell us he isn’t Fitzy!

Madison Iseman as Summer Heyward-Di Laurentis
After watching Madison Iseman play Bethany in the Jumanji movies, we have zero doubt she could play Dean’s social butterfly of a sister with hidden depths. Plus, we could totally buy that she’s related to Dean actor Stephen Kalyn. There’s a chance that Off Campus has already cast its Summer — Season 2 filming starts in June 2026 — but we’ll put our pick out there anyway!

Alycia Pascual-Pena as Demi Davis
In The Play, Hunter falls for new student Demi Davis. Demi, an aspiring therapist with Afro-Latina heritage, is smart and confident, just like Pascual-Pena’s character in the Saved by the Bell reboot. Plus, if she joined the cast of Off Campus, it would be a Saved By the Bell reunion with Cameli, which we’d personally love to see.

Elias Kacavas as Jake Connelly
More than one of the girls in the Off Campus universe points out that Jake Connelly, Harvard’s star player and rival to the Briar Hawks, is seriously attractive. It was difficult to find an actor who checks all of Jake’s boxes, but Euphoria actor Elias Kacavas is pretty close. He’s already got some rom-com experience with the upcoming In a Holidaze, and he’s played a cocky jock in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

Isabela Merced as Brenna Jensen
Isabela Merced knows her way around independent, fierce characters, as her performances in The Last of Us and Superman have proven. Brenna, the daughter of Briar U’s Coach Jensen, is exactly that. We could totally envision her butting heads with Jake and balancing Brenna’s headstrong personality with her vulnerable past.

Josh MacQueen as Conor Edwards
For sweet and protective Greek Row regular Conor, we’re thinking Josh MacQueen. Conor is the laid-back surfer-type — MacQueen plays that in Netflix’s Surviving Summer, though with more of a bad-boy edge. He plays a slightly more antagonistic role in Prime Video’s Motorheads, too, but he’s definitely got the chops to pull off Conor. Plus, he’ll appear in that aforementioned hockey show alongside D’Angelo, so he’d also be prepared to hit the ice in Off Campus. Perfect!

Rachel Boudwin as Taylor Marsh
Once you watch Rachel Boudwin in 2024’s Boot Camp, you’ll understand why she’s perfect for the role of Taylor. Her Boot Camp character struggles with low self-esteem but finds her inner strength over the course of the movie, just like Taylor. We know, she isn’t blonde, but we aren’t sticklers for hair color when it comes to adaptations. (Off Campus’Mika Abdalla is proof enough that hair color doesn’t matter!)
