‘Sterling Point’ Cast Guide: Get to Know the Actors in Prime Video’s YA Drama

Get ready to fall in love with Prime Video’s latest YA drama, Sterling Point, and its cast. Megan Park (My Old Ass) has created a coming-of-age TV series for the streamer, and it’ll explore first loves and family secrets over the course of its first season.

Seventeen-year-old Annie (Ella Rubin) leads a perfect, privileged life in New York City, but her life with her widowed adoptive father (Jay Duplass) and her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) is thrown off-course when she inherits a charming Canadian island from her late grandfather. She decides to go to Sterling Point to uncover the mystery, meeting a bunch of new friends and faces along the way.

Ella Rubin is Annie Jacobson

Ella Rubin plays 17-year-old Annie Jacobson, whose perfect life is turned on its head by what she finds in Sterling Point. The 24-year-old, who was raised in New York City like Annie, got her first TV role in Netflix’s The Chair, which she followed up with the Prime Video rom-com The Idea of YouShe played the daughter of Anne Hathaway‘s character. Rubin got her start in film in the 2014 rom-com The Rewrite. She’s also a stage actress, having made her Broadway debut in 2019’s The Rose Tattoo revival.

Connor (Keen Ruffalo) in Sterling Point

Keen Ruffalo is Connor Jacobson

Keen Ruffalo is following in the footsteps of his dad. The 25-year-old is the eldest of Mark Ruffalo‘s three kids. As a child, he made cameos in two of his dad’s movies: Begin Again and Thor: Ragnarok.

Before Sterling Point, which he stars in as Annie’s easygoing twin, his biggest project was Hal & Harper, which his dad also starred in.

German-American actress Amélie Hoeferle appears as Ramona, a teenager who was raised by her grandfather in Sterling Point. The 24-year-old made her feature film debut as Vipsania Sickle in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. She starred in the 2024 horror film Night Swim and Eddington the next year.

Bo Bragason as stars as Oona, a bold, flirty British local who becomes Annie’s first friend on the island. The 22-year-old has several TV credits, including Disney+’s Renegade Nell. She’s set to star as Zelda in Sony’s The Legend of Zelda movie.

Sterling Point viewers meet Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie as Ellis, the local who flies Annie to her grandfather’s cabin on his seaplane. The Canadian actor is best known for starring in the YA Canadian hockey series First Line and the 2018 film A Colony.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who’s the biggest name attached to the cast, plays the recurring role of Sterling Point local Joe. During his decades-long career, the 60-year-old got his breakout role in Grey’s Anatomy as Denny Duquette, and he’s best known for Supernatural and The Walking Dead. He’s currently starring in the latter’s spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City.
