‘Love Is Blind’ Couple Ashley Adionser & Tyler Francis Split After 1 Year of Marriage
Love Is Blind Season 7 pair Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis are calling it quits. The reality stars, who fell in love and got married during the Netflix show’s latest season, have decided to divorce.
News of their split comes after Francis’ paternity scandal, which was a huge bombshell in their relationship when Francis dropped the news that he was a sperm donor for his friend and had three biological children. Francis spoke out against the backlash, and Adionser defended her then-husband. But just months after the Season 7 reunion aired, Adioner and Francis are over.
“After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” Adionser told People in a statement. “While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”
She continued, “This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace. While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
The couple faced struggles early on in their romance. When Adionser found out about Francis’ paternity situation, she was taken aback. Francis claimed he did not have a relationship with his biological children. However, as the show was airing, Francis was accused of lying about his involvement by the mother of the children.
At the reunion, Francis confirmed that he did “help a friend and her wife start a family, but her wife ended up leaving her, and left her high and dry. This was my very close friend, so I stepped in, voluntarily stepped in. So there is pictures of me around, you’ll see me around… I played a part that became very shaky with a friend. There’s no rule books to this. There’s no set line to this, but I do want to let people know: Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world. This has never been news to us.”
Adionser stood by his side and called their relationship a “once in a lifetime kind of love.” She noted, “He is a good person who went in a little deep and didn’t know what to do next.”
In recent weeks, Adionser has not shared any photos with Francis on social media. However, her Instagram bio still reads: “Ashley Adionser-Francis.”
