Bachelor Nation’s Blake Horstmann & ‘LIB’s Giannina Gibelli Spill Wedding and Family Plans (VIDEO)
Our favorite reality TV crossover couple is undoubtedly Blake Horstmann and Giannina Gibelli. They weren’t able to find their true loves within the Bachelor Nation and Love Is Blind universes, but another reality show, All Star Shore, brought these two together.
Today, they’re engaged and have an adorable little boy named Heath. Horstmann popped the question to the Love Is Blind Season 1 star in October 2024 during a getaway in Spain. The couple told Swooon that Horstmann had been planning to propose for months but was waiting for the right time. Gibelli admitted she was “prepared but delightfully surprised” when Horstmann got down on one knee.
The couple has set a 2026 wedding date, and they’re already well into the wedding planning process. “We’re way ahead of the curve right now,” Horstmann revealed. Gibelli noted that they already have a venue and she’s picked out two of her dresses. “I’m waiting for something to kind of go amiss because it has to,” she admitted before adding that she prefers a little “chaos.”

Horstmann and Gibelli will be having a destination wedding, but they’re being quiet about exactly where they’ll say “I do.” Gibelli teased that the location is “one of my favorites places in the entire world.” Her family is connected to the location, so it’s a very “meaningful” choice for the couple.
Their son will have an important role in the wedding: ring bearer. Blake revealed that he will have “matching outfits” with his son on the special day.
Heath was born in March 2024, and his parents are absolutely smitten with him. “We’re going for round two,” Gibelli quipped during our interview. However, they both stressed that they’ll be expanding their family “after the wedding.” The Love Is Blind alum added, “But I want like five [kids].”
Horstmann rose to fame during Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette and appeared on Bachelor In Paradise. Swooon had to ask Horstmann whether or not he would have considered joining Love Is Blind if he didn’t have his Bachelor Nation past.
“I think Love Is Blind is much crazier than The Bachelor,” Horstmann said. “Talking to somebody through a wall, creating a connection before you see them, and getting engaged before you see them, that’s crazy to me.”
Their reality TV journeys happened exactly as they were meant to. Gibelli revealed that she was supposed to be one of the Perfect Match Season 1 cast members after her stint on Love Is Blind. “I actually said no to it to be with him,” Gibelli said.
Now, Horstmann and Gibelli are enjoying the life they’ve created together. The Bachelor Nation star got emotional talking about how seeing Gibelli with their son makes him swoon. For Gibelli, Horstmann’s smile never ceases to give her butterflies. “Heath has the same smile,” Gibelli gushed.
