Rebecca Loos Supports Brooklyn Beckham in Family Feud 22 Years After David Beckham Scandal
More than 20 years ago, Rebecca Loos dropped a major bombshell when she accused David Beckham of cheating on wife Victoria Beckham, whom he’d only been married to for five years at the time, with her. Now, Rebecca is back in the spotlight amid David and Victoria’s feud with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
After Brooklyn came out with a string of shocking allegations about how his parents have treated him and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Rebecca wrote on social media, “So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!” She also responded to another commenter, insisting, “The truth always comes out.”

How did Rebecca Loos meet her husband?
Rebecca met Sven in 2008 while she was a contestant on the competition series 71 Degrees North. Sven was working as a medic on the show at the time.

The former media personality moved from London to Norway to be with Sven in 2009. “Sven was an outdoor man and mountain lover and was not prepared to move to London, so it was I who moved to Norway,” she explained to The Sun in 2018. “I thought to myself, if it doesn’t work out, I can always move back to London.”

Yes, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Magnus, in 2009. Their second son, Liam, followed in 2012.

Having children was part of the reason Rebecca also wanted to settle down in Norway. “We wanted to bring up our children surrounded by nature,” she explained. “Playing outdoors as much as possible. Skiing, hiking, biking, learning about nature and most importantly, loving and respecting it. We would be nothing without it.”
What does Rebecca Loos’ husband do for a living?
Sven is a Norwegian doctor. Per his LinkedIn, he has worked as an anesthesiologist, emergency physician, and general practitioner. He is currently a helicopter emergency medical services and search and rescue physician at Oslo University Hospital. Rebecca is now a yoga and wellness teacher.
What happened between Rebecca Loos and David Beckham?
In April 2004, Rebecca told Sky News that she had four sexual encounters with David while working for him between September and December of the previous year. She also alleged that they continued texting in the months that followed.
Rebecca had been working as a personal assistant for David while he was playing for Real Madrid. She came forward with her accusations after being terminated from the position. From the get-go, David denied the allegations against him.
“During the past few months, I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life,” he said at the time. “What appeared this morning is just one further example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change this.”
At the time, Victoria kept tight-lipped about the rumors. In 2007, she addressed past allegations against her husband in an interview with W magazine. “I’m not going to lie, it was a really tough time,” she said. “It was hard for our entire families. David and I got through it together. No one said marriage was going to be easy. Yes, there have been bumps along the road. But the fact is, we’ve come out of everything stronger and happier. It’s even better now than when we were first married.”
In their October 2023 docuseries, Beckham, the couple talked about this tough period of their lives. “It was the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life,” Victoria confirmed. “It felt like the world was against us. We were against each other, if I’m being completely honest.”
While David was playing in Spain, Victoria said, “It didn’t really feel like we had each other, either, and that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.” Her husband admitted that he doesn’t know “how [they] got through it, in all honesty.”
“Victoria is everything to me,” he continued. “To see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters, and at that time we needed to fight for each other. We needed to fight for our family, and what we had was worth fighting for.”
After the documentary came out, Rebecca came forward to stand by her allegations. “He is making himself a victim, and he is making me look like the liar,” she told Daily Mail. “He’s making me look like I made up these horrible stories, and I’m the one who made Victoria suffer. Poor him. He had nothing to do with it. It’s so awful.”
In March 2025, she told 60 Minutes Australia, “It was a very brave thing to do, to go up against them. I have stuck to the truth, I’ve never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing. Why? Because I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media. And all I had on my side was the truth.”
Victoria subtly addressed the situation once again on the October 22, 2025, episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
“You know, we’ve had so much thrown at us, and we were talking about it because we’ve recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary,” Victoria explained, without directly addressing the question about the 2004 rumors. “And by the way, people said it wouldn’t work. Twenty-six years! We’ve had so much thrown at us, and we’ve always just been there together and just ridden the damn storm.”
