‘Rock the Block’: Who Is Season 7 Star Brooke Hogan’s Husband?
Brooke Hogan is back on reality television as a contestant on Season 7 of Rock the Block. Coming into the show with her own interior design experience, Brooke is hoping to win the show with her HGTV partner, Scott McGillivray.
Away from the cameras, Brooke has been building a life with husband Steven Oleksy, whom she secretly married in June 2022. The couple is very private about their relationship and kept news of their nuptials a secret for more than a year, only coming clean about the wedding on New Year’s Day 2024.
“We like to keep to ourselves, but somehow the news is out,” Brooke wrote on Instagram. “So here he is, people: The kindest, sweetest badass you’ll ever meet. I’m really lucky. God did me a solid on this one. Thank you for all the kind words of celebration and encouragement. We feel so blessed. Thank you for being kind.”

What does Brooke Hogan’s husband do for a living?
Steven is a professional hockey player. He currently plays for the Jacksonville Icemen in the ECHL, a minor league.
Although he briefly played baseball in college, Steven went on to play three years of Division I hockey at Lake Superior State University. He played in the ECHL from 2008 to 2013 before signing his first NFL contract with the Washington Capitals.
Steven was with the Caps until 2015, when he signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He is a Stanley Cup champion as a member of the Penguins’ 2016 winning team. The pro athlete was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2017 and played for their minor league team before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks, where he played for their AHL minor league affiliate later that year.
Since then, he has played for various minor league organizations. He ended his minor league career in 2022 before returning with the Icemen in December 2025.
Steven is also the founder of ESE Hockey, a summer hockey league with a pro division, elite division, high school division, and women’s division.
Do Brooke Hogan and her husband have kids?
Yes, Brooke and Steven are parents to fraternal twins, Oliver and Molly, who were born on January 15, 2025. Brooke debuted the babies on Instagram three days after they were born.

“So… just been staying off socials cooking these two cuties,” she wrote, alongside a photo of herself cuddling the newborns. “Our hearts have been made whole by the arrival of these two sweet souls we get to love. God is good.”
Brooke and Steven kept news of the reality star’s pregnancy a secret until after she gave birth to the babies.
Has Brooke Hogan been married before?
No, Brooke has not been married before, but she did come close. Actually, Steven is not the first athlete with whom Brooke was romantically involved, either. She was previously engaged to Phil Costa, a former professional football player, but they called off the engagement in 2013.
At the time, Brooke said she was ending the relationship to focus on her music career, but her father, Hulk Hogan, added more context in a radio interview.
“I put a bullet in that really quick,” he insisted, per CBS News. “There was no way my daughter was going to marry somebody that I don’t like that got me mad, or has got in my face.”
