One of nine Love Is Blind couples still married today, Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah, have gotten fans talking once again with viral split rumors. After seemingly setting the record straight, Chelsea and Kwame gave a major relationship update on May 15 with a joint Instagram post.

Chelsea and Kwame met on Season 4 of Love Is Blind, where they dated for only a few weeks before tying the knot. In 2025, the couple told Swooon all about their lives since the filming ended, explaining, “Life has changed in every way. Since Love Is Blind, we moved, we bought a house, we’ve had career changes, we’ve supported each other through health challenges. There has been just a lot, lot of life that you live… Turns out, when you only know somebody for like seven weeks before you marry them, a lot of life happens after that. “

Are Chelsea and Kwame still together?

Chelsea and Kwame announced that they had split on May 15, 2026. In a joint Instagram post, which you can read below, Chelsea shared, “Last week would have marked our fourth wedding anniversary. Out of respect for the life we shared, I wanted to address this moment directly with the community that has supported us over the years. It’s heartbreaking to share that our marriage is coming to an end.”

On April 29, Chelsea posted a photo on her Instagram Story with Kwame and their dog, Rocky, soaking in the sun on their patio. This picture came after Love Is Blind fans took to social media questioning if Chelsea and Kwame had called it quits.

In April 2026, rumors began to swirl that Love Is Blind stars Chelsea and Kwame had split after Chelsea had posted multiple photos without her wedding ring clearly in view. Chelsea had also changed her name on Instagram back to her maiden name. That said, at the time, she still had “wife” in her bio. The duo also recently appeared together at the Love Is Blind Season 10 reunion. Now, she has removed “wife” from her bio as well.

What have Chelsea and Kwame said about their relationship?

Prior to their joint split announcement, the couple had opened up about their future plans. “I think the goal is to eventually build a bigger family, right? We don’t know if 2025 is the year,” they told Swooon in 2025. “We don’t know if it’s 2026, but the goal is we are trying to learn from each other, uplift each other, and grow with each other as much as we possibly can until we get to that point where we believe we will be able to support not just each other, but maybe another life.”
