Before the Season 12 premiere, TLC teased that Edward, from the Dominican Republic, and Marissa from Pennsylvania, get off to a rocky start as Edward quickly learns that fitting into Marissa’s world in America is harder than it looks. “Dealing with judgment from Marissa’s tough ex-husband and her skeptical parents, the couple must figure out whether love can bridge the gap between their very different social classes and cultural worlds,” TLC revealed.

According to TLC, “Marissa balances a high-powered New York career and raising her two sons in Pennsylvania, all while maintaining the expectations of her upper-crust, socialite family.” Marissa is from Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, right near King of Prussia, where Lisa Rosenberger from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days lives. At 45, she has two sons. Cole is in fifth grade, and Derek is in sixth grade.
What is Marissa Rubinetti’s job?
Marissa is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City, a.k.a., where they film Say Yes to the Dress. While she doesn’t seem to be credited, Marissa has appeared on the classic TLC wedding dress series, which she posted on her social media. Who is Edward Miguel Gomez?
Marissa is engaged to Edward Miguel Gomez, who appears to have proposed to her on February 10, which caused her to post, “Our love story continues with the easiest ‘yes’ I ever said.” Edward is a 32-year-old from San Francisco de Macorís in the Dominican Republic. As she put it in the teaser, “The Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Kleinfeld meets hotel entertainment worker… Vast differences.”
What is Edward Miguel Gomez’s job?
Edward is a “charming hotel concierge whose easygoing spirit is the opposite of [Marissa’s] tightly scheduled life.” Now that he’s traveled to the United States, it’s unclear whether he has started a new job or not.
