Prime Video’s TV adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s hockey romance books has skated into viewers’ hearts. In under two weeks, Season 1 reached 36 million viewers and became the third most-viewed debut of any series in Prime Video’s history. Season 1 adapted Kennedy’s first book, The Deal, which follows Hannah and Garrett as they fake date and fall in love. Each book in Kennedy’s series is centered around different member of Garrett’s elite college hockey team and their love interest, making viewers wonder which couple would take the ice in the already-confirmed Off Campus Season 2.
The second book in Kennedy’s series is The Mistake. It revolves around John Logan (Antonio Cipriano) and Grace Ivers (India Fowler), who was recently cast for Season 2. But there’s also The Score‘s Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie (Mika Abdalla), who were introduced in Season 1 and had a fair amount of their story already play out. Just before production is set to start on Season 2, Prime Video confirmed whose story will take center stage next.
Who will be the main couple of Off Campus Season 2?
“One couple made a deal,” the show wrote in an Instagram post, which featured a photoshoot of Kalyn and Abdalla alongside Bright and Cameli. “The next one is keeping the score.”
That’s right: Dean and Allie are the main focus of Season 2! “We are so excited to continue Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of season two after kickstarting their romance in season one,” said series creator Louisa Levy in a statement.

Kalyn considers Season 1 a “soft launch” for Season 2. “I was so grateful to learn from Ella [Bright] and Belmont [Cameli] and watch those two great phenomenal actors lead Season 1,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
Abdalla said she’s excited to work more closely with Kalyn. “I truly love working with Stephen so much,” she told the outlet. “We didn’t get to do very many emotional scenes together [in Season 1], but when we did, we really fed off of each other in a really fulfilling way. I’m excited that I get to do this with him because I trust him so much. I trust that he will be there for me, and I will be there for him on days that are more intense than anything we experienced Season 1.”
Will Hannah and Garrett be in Off Campus Season 2?
Levy was quick to assure fans that Hannah and Garrett won’t be going anywhere. “But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry — they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble,” the showrunner explained. “We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to!”

Who will be the Off Campus Season 3 leads?
The show has yet to reveal who will be the leads of Season 3 — but it also hasn’t been renewed for another season yet. Should it be greenlit, signs point to Season 3 being about Logan and Grace. There’s a good chance that Season 2 will introduce parts of Logan and Grace’s story to set up their primary season, similar to Dean and Allie.
