What To Know
- Debby Ronaldo and Mido Fayed are featured on Season 12 of 90 Day Fiancé.
- Mido dreams of becoming an actor in Hollywood.
- The couple finally got engaged during Episode 12 of the season.
Mohamed “Mido” Fayed started this season of 90 Day Fiancé by leaving Debby Rolando to wonder whether he was on his plane from Egypt or not, so it’s no surprise that he pranked Debby during his proposal, too.
During Season 12 of 90 Day Fiancé, viewers have gotten to know Debby and Mido, a real estate agent and an aspiring actor who seems to have more affection for his major Hollywood dreams than his girlfriend. The duo has gotten into some serious arguments this season, with Mido threatening to leave New Orleans and return to Egypt during every single one. For that reason, fans are questioning whether their engagement will last. As Debby put it, “Mido can go from one to one hundred in five minutes flat.”
Now that Debby and Mido have made things official, we’re breaking down everything you need to know about their relationship status today, their most explosive argument yet, and more.
Are Debby and Mido still together?
As of Episode 12, Debby and Mido are officially engaged. The previous episode ended with Mido threatening to return to Egypt (again) at a potential wedding venue. Picking up with Debby outside crying, Mido comforted her, then got down on one knee with a ring in hand. He then told her, “I got you,” laughing at his prank. After this tumultuous engagement, it’s unclear whether they actually tie the knot.
Are Debby and Mido really engaged?
According to Mido, he had been carrying the ring, waiting for a good time to surprise Debby. Putting on the ring, he told Debby, “I don’t know about the size, it’s okay ’cause you lose weight.” Telling him, “It’s perfect,” Debby shed happy tears as she told him, “I’m going to kill you.”

What was Debby and Mido’s Halloween argument about?
At the end of Episode 6, Debby told her friends, “That is not my new husband,” before abandoning Mido on the side of the road. While Mido appeared to put on a show in the haunted house, schmoozing with all the actors, he completely shut down when they got back in the car. Debby told viewers, “I usually take 10 steps back and let him wear himself out because I know engaging in that situation is going to end up being a bad scene. But I was so embarrassed by the whole thing.”
As soon as she started crying, Mido told her, “You have everything. What you need? I should be frustrated, not you. I left everything.” Ever since arriving in America, Mido has been holding his sacrifices over Debby’s head. As soon as she asked him why he was being so rude, the floodgates opened. She finally told him, “I don’t know what you’re doing here because I don’t think you love me.”
She later told him, “You got to book a f**king flight. I’m dead serious. You could f**k that s**t in Egypt, but you can’t be compassionate with me?” After that, she told the producers to get him a flight home and then drove away.

Did Mido go back to Egypt?
While it has seemed like Mido was heading back to Egypt multiple times throughout the season, he has made it clear with the ring that he is staying. Giving viewers a bit of a clue on his whereabouts today, on June 14, Mido posted, “I hold all the women of the world in high regard and respect. The woman is among the most beautiful and delicate of things. Without women, men would not exist. […] Women in Egypt are the greatest women in the world; they manage the household while the men work. If the women also work, the men help with the housework.”
