Mitchell and Taylor appeared together on the July 2 episode of The Viall Files podcast to share new details about their relationship. “The show definitely challenged us in ways that I was not expecting,” Taylor admitted. “Obviously, going on a reality TV show, people are gonna judge and have opinions about you, but I feel like after the show we came out stronger than we were going into it.”
Mitchell added, “I feel like we’ve gone through a lot in that time, and this was just another test at the end of the day. I do believe it made us stronger.”
They haven’t publicly shared a wedding date and said they’re enjoying being engaged for now. That being said, Taylor was wearing a “Going to the Chapel” sweatshirt during the interview.
How long have Mitchell Bienvenue and Taylor Hayward been together?
Mitchell and Taylor have been together for more than six years. In a February 2026 Instagram post, Mitchell referenced the relationship milestone.
Their romance began in 2020 after they met on TikTok. Per LinkedIn, Taylor was still a student at the University of Alabama at the time. She graduated in 2022 with a degree in biochemistry. Mitchell graduated from Ohio State University in 2018.

Mitchell and Taylor live in Columbus, Ohio. He confirmed their location in his Instagram bio: “Living life in the 614,” which is a central Ohio area code. Although Taylor is from Alabama, she has moved to Ohio to be with Mitchell.
In his February 8 Instagram post, Mitchell revealed that he and Taylor “finally got [their] own place together” for the first time. Prior to that, Mitchell and Taylor were living with his parents.
