What To Know

- She addressed her explant surgery in a new video.
- The reality star was one of the contestants looking for love during Season 9 of the Netflix show.
Love Is Blind star Megan Walerius surprised everyone with her baby (and boyfriend!) reveal at the Season 9 reunion, having kept her personal life out of the public eye until the season had aired. Since then, the reality star alum has been sharing glimpses of her life as a mom.
However, Walerius recently got candid about her health in a new video series. “Sparkle Megan” gave her fans a health update and revealed how she’s doing today.
Walerius underwent breast explant surgery, a.k.a. implant removal. She’d gotten implants when she was 21 and had them redone in 2018 to “get them even bigger.” As she embraced a more holistic lifestyle in recent years, Walerius decided to have explant surgery, which she briefly mentioned to ex-fiancée Jordan Keltner on reveal day.

After the surgery, the Season 9 star realized that she had been experiencing symptoms of breast implant illness. “I don’t think I had like super obvious symptoms of breast implant illness, but after having them removed, I definitely felt a lot more clarity. Like, a lot of my fatigue was gone. My hair, skin, and nails got a lot stronger. I was sleeping better,” she said.
Her breast explant surgery led to “subtle improvements” in her overall health. As a memento, her doctor allowed her to keep the implants, and they sit in her bathroom. Walerius said she has “zero regrets” about her breast explant surgery, and she “would be open to getting a lift again” once she’s done having kids.
The 36-year-old currently has one child, Brooks, who was born in July 2025. She welcomed her baby boy with her partner, Paul Wegman, who made a brief appearance at the reunion.
“Becoming a mom is the best thing in the world, and at the same time, it changes your entire world. So for those navigating those changes – know you’re not alone,” Walerius wrote in a May 2026 Instagram post.
