Since its first season dropped in May 2026, Off Campus has become a global sensation. As readers of Elle Kennedy’s college hockey romance series of the same name, the adaptation’s popularity came as no surprise to us. It seems it wasn’t a surprise to Prime Video either, since the streamer greenlit Season 2 well before Season 1 even came out. But does that mean Season 3 is a sure thing?
Season 1 follows Kennedy’s The Deal, telling the love story of Briar University music student Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and hockey player Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli). Garrett’s teammate, Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn), and Hannah’s bestie, Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla), will take center ice next, with Season 2 depicting Kennedy’s The Score. At the same time, we’ll see John Logan (Antonio Cipriano) interact with Grace (India Fowler), the two serving as the leading couple of The Mistake.

Has Off Campus been renewed for Season 3?
As of now, Prime Video hasn’t renewed the hockey romance for a third season, but we shouldn’t be sweating. After all, Season 2 filming is still underway and hasn’t even gotten a release date yet. If it premieres around same time as Season 1 did next year — which is likely, since it’s following the same filming timeline as Season 1 — we wouldn’t expect a renewal announcement until at least early next year. Season 2 was announced on February 12, 2026.
It’s also a good sign that showrunner Louisa Levy has been open about wanting to adapt more of Kennedy’s books. “There are four core Off Campus books,” she told Swooon regarding if she had plans for more than four seasons. “The Legacy is wonderful, but doesn’t sustain its own season. And then we have the four Briar U books, so in success, we could do all of them.”
She added, “I don’t know what I’ll be allowed to do, but I would love to keep doing this for as long as people keep watching.”
When would Off Campus Season 3 premiere?
Well, Seasons 1 and 2 have followed the same pattern thus far. Season 1 was shot from May to September 2025, premiering in May 2026. Season 2 is filming this summer as well. Though the premiere date hasn’t been announced, we’d slot it for May or June 2027. Assuming Season 3 gets an advanced renewal, we’d predict a May or June 2028 release.
Which cast members would return for Off Campus Season 3?
Since the show focuses on a different couple every season, many viewers wondered whether Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli would return in Season 2. Rest assured: They’ll be back. “But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry — they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble,” the showrunner explained in a statement announcing Dean and Allie as Season 2’s leads. “We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to!”
Hopefully that means Bright, Cameli, Stephen Kalyn, and Mika Abdalla will stick around for a potential third season. Assuming Grace and Logan become the central couple of Season 3, Antonio Cipriano and India Fowler would appear. Jalen Thomas Brooks would likely reprise his role as John Tucker. His book, The Goal, arrives fourth. His love interest, Sabrina James, has yet to be cast. Conversations about her character had already been had before the Season 1 premiere, according to Brooks.
“It’s something that everybody knows is on the way down the line,” Brooks told Swooon in May 2026. “That’s one of the most beautiful things about this series, as it keeps going, is that after each season you’re gonna go and watch the previous seasons to realize how many Easter eggs are being dropped. When you watch [season] two and see that there’s Easter eggs in [season] one, and then when we watch [season] three, how there was Easter eggs in [season] two. It’s gonna be all that.”
What book would Off Campus Season 3 follow?
Levy has mentioned that she plans to plant seeds for each couple during the season that precedes their own. The Deal featured elements of The Score in Season 1; The Score will likely include bits from The Mistake. So, we’d bet all our money on Season 3’s plot mostly pulling from The Mistake, with some elements of The Goal.
