‘McBee Dynasty’ Preview: Steven Jr. & Allie Plan Their Relationship Hard-Launch

Things are hot and heavy between Steven McBee Jr. and his new girlfriend, Allie Eklund on Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. But the new romance may be taking a toll on Steven’s relationship with his brothers.
In Swooon’s exclusive preview of the June 29 episode, Steven and Allie plan out the Instagram hard-launch of their relationship. Meanwhile, Steven’s brothers are out in the field doing work, which he skipped out on.
“My brothers have the cattle options handled. There’s no need for me to be there,” Steven insists. “This is an opportunity for me to prioritize my relationship, prioritize what I have talked so much about doing the last year.”
Steven and Allie discuss caption options, with the Bravo star telling his new love, “I feel like ‘loml’ … would that be a little weird? Coming out strong out of the gate?” Steven wonders. “I don’t want people to think it’s too casual. What if I just say, ‘Never been so certain.’ I think that lets people know how serious I am about it.”
Allie also points out that Steven sent her a text saying the same thing, which Steven decides to screenshot and use in the last photo of his hard-lunch Instagram dump.
“The beginning of any relationship is called the honeymoon phase for a reason,” Allie says in a confessional. “It is thrilling, it’s sexy, it’s fun. And I just really want to remember that there’s no rush.” However, she lets Steven know that she thinks his post is “really sweet.”
When Cole McBee sees the post pop up as he and his brothers are out working, he’s shocked. “No way. Are you kidding me? Look at this,” he complains. “Steven just hard-launched ’em. ‘Never been so certain.’ And look at the last one … a text.”
“He literally had to stay at the farm with her to figure out how they’re going to hard-launch this,” he points out, “when he’s supposed to be up here selling cows with the boys.”
Steven and Allie have broken up since filming Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty, but Allie previously told Swooon that viewers will see a “genuine love story” play out on the show. And while she won’t be getting back together with him, she explained, “I made a commitment to his family and the show, and I’m someone that fulfills those commitments. I’m still navigating what exactly that looks like with all of the expectations and things that come with being on a show. I’m doing the best that I can. I have no plans to see Steven again or speak with him, but from a distance, I want the best for all of them.”
