“Most people would be surprised to know that I am all of 5’1″, and I played college basketball,” she told Swooon. Courteney started her collegiate sports career at a junior college in Oregon — where her family lives, and she hopes to settle down once she has kids — and transferred to NDNU, a Division II school in Belmont, California. Her sister, who appeared on MAFS Season 20, played on the same team for a year.

Who did Courteney marry on Married at First Sight Season 20?
Courteney was matched with Nick Uhlenhuth, who has previously appeared on reality shows like The Circle and Perfect Match. Nick fit Courteney’s athletic requirement, having played lacrosse in high school and college. They aligned in that they had similar family goals, didn’t want a super religious partner, and leaned more conservative politically.
There was banter and attraction right off the bat at their wedding, though Courteney did bring up her concerns about Nick’s reality TV show history at the reception. During their honeymoon, some issues arose: Courteney felt like playfulness and fun were missing in their relationship, while Nick thought there was a lack of physical affection and wondered if she was into him. They talked it out, but both topics came up again when they returned to live together in Seattle.
