‘Let’s Marry Harry’: All About Season 1 Standout Juliana Melchor
What To Know
- Juliana Melchor is one of Harry Jowsey’s fiancées in Let’s Marry Harry.
- She was previously married.
- Juliana revealed shocking family information in the first season.
Twenty women enter the Let’s Marry Harry house with one goal: be the one to marry Harry Jowsey. Yep, the notorious playboy who first caught our attention in Too Hot to Handle, returned for Perfect Match, and even competed on Dancing With the Stars.
Now, he’s supposedly ready to settle down in Let’s Marry Harry, with the help of his trusted crew of Confidants. But who will still be wearing an engagement ring by the end of this?
One of those women is Juliana Melchor, and her journey with Harry is a roller coaster, to say the least. Harry admits she brings out a side of him that’s more “lustful” than “loving,” but that doesn’t stop her from making a lasting impression.
So, just how many lives does Juliana have in Let’s Marry Harry? Let’s get to know Harry’s potential wife — and her unforgettable bangs. (Genuinely, call up her hairdresser immediately.)
Who is Juliana Melchor?
Juliana is a 30-year-old corporate healthcare recruiter, which is one of those careers you don’t often see represented on reality TV, but we’re here for it. However, there seems to be a little mystery around her job title. While Let’s Marry Harry lists her as a corporate healthcare recruiter, Netflix’s Tudum guide introduces her as an account manager in the oil industry. Did we just spot a reality TV résumé mix-up?
Outside of work, Juliana is a true gym girlie, loves traveling, and enjoys cooking up a feast for the people she cares about. She decided to apply for the show because Harry seemed like a “silly goose”, and she’s looking for someone who doesn’t take life too seriously. However, her journey in the house may not be completely smooth sailing. Juliana’s jealousy quickly becomes apparent, and she’s not exactly thrilled about sharing her man with 19 other women.

Where is Juliana from?
Juliana — and her incredible bangs — are from Texas, baby! More specifically, she’s from Houston. She’s a true Texas princess, describing herself as “sweet, sassy, and always classy.” And based on what we’ve seen of her so far on Let’s Marry Harry, she’s certainly living up to that promise.
Has Juliana been married before?
Juliana reveals early on in the show that she divorced her high school sweetheart three years ago. She explains, “We tried. It just wasn’t there, and I know what I do deserve now.”
Now, the question is whether Harry can give her the kind of relationship she’s looking for. Later in the season, Juliana opens up further, revealing that infidelity played a role in the breakdown of her first marriage.
Do Harry and Juliana get married?
Juliana and Harry grow very close, very quickly. She shows off her possessive side when she paints over Sammy’s name on Harry’s chest, and rather than pushing back, he chooses to continue their date. They have intense makeout sessions and plenty of words of affirmation, but Harry soon reveals a different concern to his Confidants.
He admits that Juliana brings out a toxic side of him that he’s experienced before and worries that their connection could tempt him into love bombing. Based on those concerns, his friends decide to eliminate her.
But then comes the twist: Harry chooses to save Juliana and sends another contestant home instead. He argues that it’s not Juliana’s fault for bringing out this side of him and promises to challenge himself to be better.
Does he manage it? Well, only a day later, Harry and Juliana tell each other they love each other… and Harry immediately begins regretting those words. So… perhaps not.
At the next elimination, before Harry even opens a box, he pulls Juliana aside and tells her she’s not the one for him. She chooses to leave on her own terms. Then Harry returns to the group, opens the box, and finds her name inside. Incredible TV, no complaints.
