The Love Island USA drama doesn’t stop when filming for the main season does. Roughly one month after the Season 8 finale aired, all the ex-Islanders gathered for the reunion. Though it has yet to air, the rumor mill about what exactly went down has already started running wild since it was filmed in front of a live audience for the first time.
Several viral social media posts have claimed that Trinity Tatum was kicked out during reunion filming on August 10. It started with an X user alleging that “oomf [one of my followers] got a ticket to the reunion and she said Trinity had to be escorted out.” The rumor was re-shared by @meyechelgossips on TikTok, who wondered if the alleged drama had to do with Sol Dean, based on Trinity’s Watch What Happens Live comments.
During the July 29 episode, host Andy Cohen brought up Sol’s Love Island: Aftersun comment that “[Bryce Dettloff] probably thinks Kayda is prettier than Trinity” and that if a bombshell that was his type came in, he would pursue her. Trinity told the host, “I think she said a lot of unprovoked things after she left, and I didn’t have an issue with her. I never once had a problem with her because she didn’t come for me. So, for her to make comments about me and my couple, my relationship, it was a little off-putting.”

Trinity is setting the record straight about what actually did (or rather, didn’t) happen at the reunion. Underneath @meyechelgossips’s TikTok, the Season 8 winner commented, “This is not true idk where this info came from lmaoo.”
According to an X user, Trinity reportedly addressed the claims again in a private Instagram group chat. “I hate I even have to say this but don’t believe everything on the net lol I did not get escorted out,” she said. “Also we never had an altercation but goodnight my loves.”
