Love Island USA Season 8 has found its winning couple in Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff. The Islanders first got together in Episode 1, charming America so much over the next six weeks that they inspired countless fan edits and legions of Brinity shippers. It’s not surprising that they were voted as the favorite couple of the season by the public, as they had one of the most stable connections in the villa.
What are Bryce and Trinity’s plans for life outside the villa, though? Since they were crowned the winners of the $100,000 prize — which, for the first time in Love Island USA history, they weren’t asked if they wanted to split or steal — Bryce and Trinity have given fans some idea of their future together. Are Trinity and Bryce still together after Season 8?
Trinity, 22, and Bryce, 30, already put a label on their relationship well before they won Season 8. When Bryce asked Trinity to be his girlfriend during their first date in Episode 24, she didn’t hesitate to say yes. They went a step further during their final date in the finale: Bryce told Trinity that he loved her. Once again, Trinity returned the sentiment instantly. “I really do,” she said. “I was just waiting for you to say it.”
“I’ve been feeling it the whole time,” Bryce told Trinity before they shared a kiss.
Before the finale result was revealed, Bryce touched on what he envisioned doing with Trinity after the villa. He lives in Los Angeles, while Trinity lives in Virginia, so Zach Georgiou asked if Bryce was going to have Trinity stay with him. “Whatever she wants, dude,” he answered. “It’s an open door. She could stay however long. There’s no time limit.”
In an Instagram video shared by Love Island USA, Bryce said, “I think most people are going to L.A., and Trinity’s coming to L.A. with me, too.” They’re planning on hanging out with Zach and his fellow fourth-place winner, Kayda Bosse, while they’re there.
Bryce also has a first (real-world) date idea in mind. “I want to take her surfing. I want to teach her how to surf. I have a couple spots in L.A.,” Bryce said, adding he’ll “100%” get Trinity a wetsuit.

What happened between Trinity and Bryce during Season 8?
Trinity picked Bryce to couple up with after finding out they had several things in common — and sharing some steamy kisses — during Episode 1’s door challenge. When they were asked if they wanted to explore beyond their partner by the end of Episode 1, Bryce and Trinity both said yes, which led to them being taken by new bombshells to Paradise Cove along with one fellow Islander. The new bombshells (Kayda and Gabriel) picked someone else to couple up with (Zach and Beatriz), so Bryce and Trinity wound up back together.
As they got to know each other more, Trinity and Bryce grew closer together. They picked each other during every recoupling and remained one of the most drama-free couples throughout the season. They exchanged heartfelt love letters in Episode 13, which seemed to be a turning point in their relationship. During Casa Amor, Trinity wasn’t happy with Bryce’s reaction to the new girls during the Heart Rate challenge — it was live-streamed to the villa — but he remained loyal to Trinity after. Trinity kissed one of her Casa bombshells, but quickly realized her heart was with Bryce and stopped exploring. (Their yearning for each other during their time apart is peak Love Island USA.)
As mentioned, Bryce and Trinity officially became boyfriend and girlfriend a few days after they were reunited. From then on, Bryce and Trinity remained a solid couple with pretty much zero drama all the way until the end. (The same can’t be said for some of their fellow finalists.)
