‘Perfect Match’ Season 4 Cast: A Guide to Their Exes & Relationship History
Perfect Match is a truly unique kind of reality dating show. Because while people can look at Love Island or Love Is Blind and say, “They’re just looking for fame,” this is a show where the contestants already have it.
They arrive on Perfect Match fresh off shows like Temptation Island, Age of Attraction, or Too Hot to Handle — egos fully packed in their suitcases. And honestly, that’s what makes it so glorious.
The cast’s relationship history is often messy, whether it be with actual exes or brief dalliances. Many of them have already met at Netflix events or through mutual connections. They know each other’s exes — and sometimes, those exes walk into the villa, too.
The Season 4 finale of Perfect Match drops on May 27. Now that we’re in the midst of the Perfect Match drama, here’s everything you need to know about the cast’s past relationships.
Perfect Match, Season 4, Episodes 1-7, Streaming Now, Netflix
Perfect Match, Season 4, Episode 8, Wednesday, May 27, Netflix
Danny Spongberg
This season of Perfect Match is basically Temptation Island 2.0, and Danny Spongberg is right in the middle of it. He was one of three contestants from Season 1 of Temptation Island who joined the cast and had built-in connections with Hashim, Natalie, and Yamen.
On his original show, Danny got caught up with Ashley Moore, who jokingly dubbed him her “sugar baby,” thanks to their five-year age gap. After Ashley discovered her partner Grant had been cheating, she fully leaned into the experience — and that included Danny. The two visited the temptation hut twice and even had a sleepover, eventually leaving the show together… though things fizzled not long after. They’ve stayed friendly despite their split. One thing’s clear: Danny is more than open to dating older women.
Chris Dahlan
We met Chris fairly recently when he appeared on Season 1 of Age of Attraction. His connection with Leah Woolfolk didn’t exactly go the distance, but not without plenty of fiery sparks along the way.
Chris previously dated someone 15 years older, and he’s been pretty open about having a thing for older women. At the reunion, he and Leah confirmed they hadn’t rekindled things, and Chris was later announced as the first cast member of Perfect Match Season 4.
Dave Hand
Now this caught our attention. For the first time ever, a Married at First Sight contestant entered the Perfect Match villa, and honestly, it’s felt like the beginning of a beautifully messy crossover era.
Dave Hand appeared on the 2025 season of Married at First Sight Australia, where he was matched with Jamie Marinos. While the two walked into the reunion together, their relationship didn’t survive in the real world.
Since the show, Dave’s built up a following on TikTok, thanks to his tradie content… and that attention has only grown. For starters, he’s 6’7” — yes, really. A giant. There were also reports that Dave previously dated fellow MAFS contestant Sierah Swepstone before the experiment.
DeMari Davis
DeMari Davis appeared on Season 6 of Too Hot to Handle, where he quickly formed a connection with Brianna Balram. But then came Valentina, and things got complicated. The two hit it off on a date, and when DeMari was given the choice to extend their time together or release Bri from banishment, he chose to keep the date going. During that extra time, he and Valentina shared a kiss.
Afterward, DeMari had another decision to make: Bring Bri back or leave her in banishment for an additional 12 hours. He ultimately made the right call and brought her back, but not without consequences. Let’s just say he spent some time in the doghouse. Despite the drama, he and Bri made it through the season… only to split after the show.
Hashim Moore
Hashim Moore joined Season 1 of the Netflix reboot of Temptation Island, where the former Princeton athlete quickly became a fan favorite. He briefly connected with Shanté Glover, but unlike many of the other singles, Hashim took a slower, more thoughtful approach, often acting more like a confidant than a full-on pursuer.
Shanté ultimately stayed loyal to her partner, Brion, and Hashim later revealed that she actually blocked him before the show even aired (awkward).
Jimmy Sotos
Jimmy Sotos was an interesting addition to the Perfect Match world. He’s never actually been on reality TV before. No Netflix, no Bachelor, no MAFS… nothing. He’s a social media influencer known for his basketball content and dance videos, and he’s built a following of over 1.4 million on TikTok.
He previously dated fellow influencer Bella Graz, and the relationship seemingly ended on a rocky note, with her moving out and the pair posting what felt like targeted TikToks at each other afterward.
Jimmy Presnell
It might take you a second to recognize Jimmy — something is in-hair-ently different about him. We won’t spoil it, but he’s addressed it on his socials.
Jimmy first made his mark on Season 6 of Love Is Blind, where he found himself in a classic pods love triangle. He ultimately ended things with Jessica Vestal — who famously told him he’d need an EpiPen when he saw her — and got engaged to Chelsea Blackwell. The pair split shortly before the wedding.
Post-show, Jimmy dated Farrah Colonna for over a year before that relationship ended amid cheating allegations. He’s also previously hinted at interest in Amber Desiree (AD) Smith, though she’s now engaged and recently had a baby, so that chapter is very much closed.
Meanwhile, Jessica went on to appear on Perfect Match, where she coupled up with Harry Jowsey, though that relationship didn’t last either. Jimmy and his ex, Chelsea, are on good terms now, firmly in the “better as friends” category.
Nick Pellecchia
Nick Pellecchia’s season of Million Dollar Secret dropped the same day as the Perfect Match cast announcement, so fans didn’t really get the chance to deep-dive him properly. He was the winner of Season 2, beating out Lauren Gierth and Kaleb Moon in the final stretch.
He previously told Marie Claire that he’d been trying to break into reality TV for a while, so it was no surprise he jumped at the chance to join Perfect Match.
Nick has stayed in touch with several of his costars, including Umeko, with whom he had a slight “romance” storyline on the show.
Weston Richey
Weston Richey appeared on Season 1 of Love Island USA, alongside Yamen. Weston went on to finish in fourth place with Emily Salch, and post-show, the pair had an on-again, off-again relationship before ultimately calling it quits in May 2020.
During his time in the villa, he also explored a connection with Kyra Green, who later coupled up with Cashel Barnett. Kyra has since shared a breakup vlog with Cashel on YouTube, so she is free again.
Yamen Sanders
We’ve got a repeat offender on our hands, the kind that could rival Louis Russell and Scott van-der-Sluis for most franchise appearances.
Yamen Sanders first entered the reality TV universe on Love Island USA Season 1 back in 2019, where he coupled up with Christen. He later resurfaced in 2025 on Temptation Island Season 1 as a single tempter, where he formed a slow-burning, “pleasant” connection with contestant Tayler. Post-Temptation Island, Yamen and Tayler reportedly stayed in touch and met up multiple times.
Most recently, he appeared on Love Island: All Stars Season 3, where he coupled up with Whitney Adebayo. They are still together, so let’s just say whatever happens in Perfect Match… stays in Perfect Match.
Alison Ogden
On a show about making it in music, Conor Smith and Alison Ogden gave us a much-needed Building the Band romance. According to Alison, she and Conor continued to explore their connection after filming wrapped. Ultimately, long distance proved too difficult, with him based in Australia and her in LA. Still, the split was described as polite and respectful.
Ally Lewber
We’ve never had a Vanderpump Rules star on Perfect Match before — until now. The closest overlap is indirect, with several cast members crossing into the Love Island universe, which is now hosted by Ariana Madix.
Ally entered the reality TV spotlight through her relationship with DJ James Kennedy. The pair had their share of good moments, even moving in together, but ultimately split following his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence in December 2024.
Post-Kennedy, People reported in July 2025 that she had a new man in her life, though given the timing of filming in late 2025 or early 2026, that relationship likely didn’t last long.
Brianna Balram
Brianna Balram does not mess around, that much is clear. She brought that intensity to Season 6 of Too Hot to Handle, where she ultimately won alongside DeMari Davis, also in Perfect Match Season 4. During the season, Bri had a brief banishment after pushing Lana’s buttons, but she remained a burst of energy in every setting.
Bri and DeMari broke up in early 2025, with reports suggesting it was a painful split. To make things even messier, the first episode of Too Hot to Handle also featured a cheeky kiss between Bri and Chris, which she ultimately left to continue things with DeMari.
Later, Bri appeared on Season 1 of Battle Camp, where she once again brought her competitive edge. and a bit of light flirting with Louis Russell. While fans speculated about a connection, Louis later downplayed it as nothing more than “good vibes.”
Outside the show, Bri is now dating Love Island alum Lochan Nowacki. And here’s where it gets even more tangled: His ex, Whitney, is currently dating Yamen, who is also in this season. It really is a small world after all.
Kassy Castillo
A hot new bombshell is entering the villa — again! Kassy Castillo was a Day 1 islander on Season 5 of Love Island USA, where she ultimately finished as runner-up alongside Leo Dionicio. Their time in the villa was rocky at points, particularly during Casa Amor, and the pair split shortly after the show.
Kassy later returned as a bombshell in Season 6, entering on Day 27, though her second stint was short-lived, lasting just three days.
Katherine LaPrell
Katherine is exactly what reality TV producers dream of finding. She’s ridiculously hot, unafraid to say what she thinks, and fully willing to go after whoever she wants, regardless of the consequences.
On Season 6 of Too Hot to Handle, she spent most of the season coupled up with Louis Russell — who viewers will also recognize from Perfect Match Season 3 (and, frankly, half the Netflix dating universe at this point). Things then took a turn when she switched her attention to Charlie Jeer, who himself ditched his match Lucy Syed around the same time. Messy, messy work.
Charlie and Katherine went on to date for around a year and a half, navigating long distance and even supporting each other professionally — including Katherine helping to promote his music career. They ultimately split in early 2025.
Kayla Richart
Honestly, the Too Hot to Handle → Perfect Match pipeline is starting to feel like a full-blown franchise ecosystem at this point.
Kayla Richart from Season 4 of Too Hot to Handle was cast in the newest season of Perfect Match. She connected with Seb Melrose during her season, and the pair finished as runners-up. They continued dating after the show wrapped, but ultimately split amid cheating rumors. Kayla has publicly spoken about the situation, while both Seb and the other party involved have denied the allegations.
And that “other party” is none other than Micah Lussier from Love Is Blind Season 4 — a name fans will also recognize from her previous appearance in Perfect Match Season 2. Despite claims by Kayla, nothing has been confirmed by them.
Mackenzie Bellows
It’s always entertaining when a non-dating show contestant enters the mix. Mackenzie Bellows from Season 2 of Squid Game: The Challenge traded a tracksuit for a bikini. Little is known about her dating history, given she hasn’t previously been in the reality TV dating ecosystem.
Marissa George
We were ready to ride for Marissa George on Season 7 of Love Is Blind. She got engaged to Ramses Prashad, and the pair quickly became the subject of countless thinkpieces thanks to their very specific, very modern relationship clashes.
One centered on Marissa’s military background, something she was proud to share early on, but which Ramses struggled with. Another major point of tension came from differing views on safe sex, with Marissa not wanting to go on hormonal birth control, and Ramses expressing his dislike of condoms.
By the time of the Love Is Blind reunion, Marissa had already moved on to a new relationship, though that ultimately didn’t last either. And if there’s one thing her journey has made clear, it’s that she’s often been told she’s “too much,” which really just means she needs someone who can actually match her energy.
Natalie Cruz
On Temptation Island, Natalie Cruz was at the center of the Grant, Ashley, and Danny love triangle — or is it a square at this point? She caught Grant’s attention early on, and within just three days, he had cheated on Ashley with her, including a now-infamous shower scene.
Despite their strong physical connection, Grant ultimately chose to leave Temptation Island alone to focus on himself. However, in the months that followed, he and Natalie continued dating exclusively… until he then went on to cheat on Natalie with Ashley. Oh, dear.
Sophie Willett
You know how Sabrina Carpenter starts “Manchild” with that sighing “Oh boy”? That was pretty much our reaction to seeing Sophie Willett on this list.
Another petite blonde, Sophie made waves on Season 2 of Love Is Blind: UK. Surprisingly, her love triangle with Kieran and Megan didn’t really extend beyond the pods. The real talking point was “PhotoboothGate,” where she and Javen were seen having an intense “discussion” in a photo booth, though viewers are still debating exactly what went down (and whether there was ever a curtain situation at all).
