Who Is Still Together From ‘Temptation Island’ Season 9? Updates on the Couples
Temptation Island will soon see a new batch of couples head to Hawaii to test the strength of their relationships. Before we meet the Season 10 cast, however, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane and catch up with the Season 9 group.
After filming in May 2024, Temptation Island Season 9 premiered about 10 months later. As usual, the finale episode revealed which pairs left the show together, apart, or with someone else entirely. One couple even got engaged!
However, there was no reunion show to provide an update on where everybody stood almost a year later. Some couples broke up for good, while others reconciled briefly. Another participant got married almost a year after Season 9 premiered. Swooon has all the latest updates on everyone below.

Alexa & Lino
Status: Engaged
Lino Troisi and Alexa Santamaria didn’t give into temptation. They committed to each other once and for all, getting engaged during the Temptation Island finale.
The couple confirmed to Tudum that they’re planning to tie the knot in Italy in fall 2026. After years of moving around for Alexa’s job, they also want to settle in Florida where they’ll be close to family. The couple is currently planning their wedding, and continue to showcase their love on social media.
Shanté & Brion
Status: Split
Shanté Glover and Brion Whitley stayed together until the show aired, but split less than a month later. They came to the island as a couple and decided to leave together, despite Brion’s decision to give into temptation and have a threesome with two other women in the villa.
Of her decision to stay with Brion after his indiscretion, Shanté explained, “I could tell it was more physical and not an emotional thing.” Meanwhile, he said he “regrets” the hookup and insisted that he’s “grown” a lot since then.
The two decided to work on their relationship in therapy after filming. They were even planning on moving in together. However, Shanté released a statement announcing their breakup on April 7, 2025.
“There’s no bad blood, just two people recognizing that we need time and space to process this journey,” she wrote. “I wish Brion nothing but the best, and I hope we’re both able to grow from this experience.” The two still follow each other on Instagram a year later.
Grant & Ashley
Status: Split
Grant Larson and Ashley Moore were not able to make their relationship work on the show. They did not leave together, and although they briefly reconciled once they returned home from filming, they are not together today. In fact, they both confirmed that they are currently single.
Ashley described the reconciliation as a “s**t show.”
“I just ran into him out at the bar literally next to my house, and it just went downhill from there,” she explained. “He told me that he had been going out to all the places trying to run into me.” Although Grant “tried” to fix things, Ashley still wasn’t able to trust him.
Grant & Natalie
Status: Split
Grant Larson struck up a connection with Natalie Cruz on the show. They did not leave together, but they did start seeing each other once filming ended. “About a week” after they got home, Grant called Natalie and invited her on a work trip. While dropping her off at the airport afterwards, he told her he wanted to be in an “exclusive” relationship with her.
It didn’t last. “He cheated on Natalie with me,” Ashley claimed. Now, the two don’t even talk. “I haven’t even shed a tear over this,” Natalie admitted. “I’m not distraught whatsoever.” Like Grant, Natalie is still single.
Danny & Ashley
Status: Split
After ending things with Grant on the island, Ashley left the show with Danny Spongberg. However, the relationship “fizzled out,” and they’re just “really good friends.”
“We live very different lifestyles, and we kind of knew that going in. I was more just trying to stay away from Grant,” Ashley explained. Danny is also still single.
Tyler & Tayler
Status: Split
Tyler Breshears and Tayler Bird did not leave the show together and never reunited. However, they did run into each other at the gym “about a week” after filming and had an “hours-long” conversation about everything.
Although the exes talked about getting back together, he told Tayler that he wasn’t in a place to do so. Two months later, Tyler started dating someone else not from the show. He said Tayler called him to ask why he wouldn’t give their relationship another shot.
“We haven’t talked since that phone call. I’ve run into her at Costco, and we don’t say anything to each other,” Tyler shared. According to Tayler, Tyler said a reconciliation could work if they went to counseling, which is why she was shocked to find out that he had a girlfriend.
“It was just the straw that broke the camel’s back,” she confirmed. “So I blocked him and never looked back, and we have not spoken since.” While Tayler is single, Tyler went on to propose to his aforementioned girlfriend, Lauren, in September 2025. They married in April 2026.
Tyler & Kay
Status: Split
Tyler left Temptation Island with Kay Carlson, but their relationship did not last past the final bonfire.
Tyler said he and Kay realized their lives didn’t “align” during their last date but still decided to leave together due to their strong bond. They haven’t even seen each other since filming ended.
Kay admitted that the sparks only flew between them because of the romantic setting they were in and said she wanted to give Tyler the chance to experience the single life after filming.
“I think he’s such a good guy, but I don’t think he’s my guy,” she confirmed. After giving her ex-boyfriend another shot post-filming, Kay is now “casually” seeing someone else. Meanwhile, Tyler was introduced to Lauren via a friend and said he has “strong intentions” for their future together.
