Zach Georgiou has made an impression on the Love Island USA villa since he entered on Day 1. From his bromance with Bryce Dettloff to his pursuit of bombshell Kayda Bosse in only the second episode, Zach’s been at the center of many Season 8 conversations, even though he and Kayda have settled into a stable couple.

Who is Zach Georgiou?
In the first couple of episodes. Zach has shared a few tidbits about himself, including that he was previously in a relationship for a few years. “I do love an alpha woman,” Zach said of his type. “Push me down. Take control. Do you know what I mean?”
He also described himself as an introvert and a nerd. “I love superheroes, anything comics,” he said. He doesn’t need his partner to be the same way. But, he added, “That’d be ideal because then we could nerd out about things.” He’s also a One Direction fan, which he finds helpful when talking to girls.
Who is Zach Georgiou’s brother?
Zach isn’t the first Georgiou to step into the villa. His older brother, Charlie, was a bombshell during Love Island USA Season 7 and later appeared on Love Island Games Season 2 and Beyond the Villa Season 2. In the first two cases, Charlie didn’t find a lasting connection and was dumped from the villa fairly early on.

“I’m here to see if I can do better than him and find love,” Zach said. They also have an older sister who was born in Australia, while Charlie and Zach were both born in England.

Where is Zach Georgiou from?
Zach is the lone Islander from across the pond. He comes from Birmingham, England. “I do think my girlfriend would be in America,” he said in his intro. “A fun, cool American girl. We’d get a little cool place with a cat. A cat is very important. My girlfriend needs to love my cat, or else she’s out the door 100 percent.”
His family owns fish-and-chips shops. His mom was born in Australia, he explained to Kayda in Episode 2, and she met his dad later on. Papa Georgiou had businesses in England and Australia and would travel back and forth. “Very stereotypical British and Greek to just own fish and chips,” he said. In Zach’s Instagram bio, he wrote that he splits his time between Birmingham and Adelaide.
What does Zach Georgiou do for a living?
On Instagram, Zach calls himself a digital creator, and he didn’t give more details about his 9-to-5 until two weeks into the season. In Episode 14, Zach was helping Bryce stretch his hamstrings and said, “I do this for my patients. This is what I do to stroke patients.”
“I deal with actual vulnerable stroke patients,” he continued, adding that the older women love him. So, it sounds like Zach’s a physical therapist of some sort. Who knew?
