‘Jersey Shore’: What Happened to Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s Ex Jen Harley?
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has documented the ups and downs of his life on Jersey Shore since 2009. The MTV star has dealt with his fair share of struggles over the years, including a tumultuous relationship with ex-girlfriend Jen Harley, with whom he shares a daughter, Ariana.
Ronnie and Jen dated on and off between 2017 and 2019, and their issues were highly publicized via social media fights and physical altercations that became legal matters.
By 2024, Jen told the Daily Mail that things were “better than ever” in her coparenting relationship with Ronnie, adding that they talk “almost every day” about their daughter and are both living in Miami. Scroll down for more updates on what Jen is up to now.
What is Jen Harley doing now?
Per her Instagram bio, Jen is working as a realtor in Miami and Las Vegas. She is in a relationship with Joe Ambrosole, whom she has been dating off and on for several years.
Although Jen obtained a “stay away” order from Joe in 2024 after he was arrested for domestic violence, per Page Six, they have seemingly mended things in their relationship and are currently together.

In May, she shared a photo dump showing them together on a cruise. According to Joe’s Instagram bio, he is an SEO expert for Galaxy Growth. He also lists himself as a chef who provides VIP boat rentals.
How many kids does Jen Harley have?
Jen has three children. Her eldest son, Mason, was born in 2006. She shares him with her ex-husband, Joshua Rogers. She and Ronnie welcomed Ariana in April 2018.
In 2023, she gave birth to her third child, a son named Jayden, whom she shares with Joe. The two were briefly embroiled in a custody battle after Joe’s arrest in 2024, but that appears to no longer be an issue since they are back together.
Who has custody of Ronnie and Jen’s daughter?
In 2023, Ronnie revealed that he had full custody of Ariana. He has primary physical custody of the young girl, per The U.S. Sun. In the 2022 agreement, it stated that Jen would have custody “every second, third, fourth, and fifth weekend from Friday at 6 p.m. until Sunday at 6 p.m.” The exes were also granted joint legal custody, but “in the event of a disagreement, father shall have tiebreaker authority after making a good faith effort to meet and confer.”
The judge’s ruling came after Ronnie spent “eight or nine months” in treatment after various legal issues, including an arrest in 2019 after an alleged altercation with Harley, and another arrest in 2021 for domestic violence (Harley was not involved this time).
He pleaded not guilty to the 2019 charges of domestic violence, child endangerment, brandishing a weapon, criminal threats, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest. In his plea deal, he received 36 months’ probation, paid $20,000 to a women’s shelter, and enrolled in a 52-week domestic violence class, per Us Weekly. Ronnie did not face formal charges for the 2021 arrest.
However, Jen has dealt with her own share of legal issues. In 2018, she was arrested for domestic battery after a physical altercation, during which she allegedly dragged Ronnie with her car in Las Vegas. However, “due to insufficient evidence,” Jen did not face any charges.
Ronnie filed a battery report against Jen in January 2019, alleging that she threw an ashtray at him and injured his face. She was arrested for domestic violence in May 2019, but the charges were dropped two months later.
Then, in 2021, she was arrested and later formally charged with one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon constituting domestic violence and one misdemeanor count of battery constituting domestic violence, per Us Weekly. It was after this incident (and Ronnie’s completion of treatment) that he received full custody.
