Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker will be celebrating 13 years of marriage on June 22, and they have some big plans to celebrate. The catch? Jessie is totally in the dark about what her husband has up his sleeve!

The Dancing With the Stars alum, who partnered with AbbVie for the brand’s new Love in Mind™ campaign, told Swooon how her husband is surprising her for their special day.

“He is surprising me. He booked a trip,” Jessie spilled. “I don’t really know anything else about it. It’s for us to go to Europe. I don’t really have any other details. I don’t know much. But he has surprised me, and I am very excited for this.”

There’s more to look forward to after the trip, as well. The couple and their four kids (daughter Vivianne and sons Eric Jr., Forrest, and Denver) recently got back from spending time at their home on the beach in Florida and will “probably be going back next month,” Jessie added.

With four kids, making time for each other isn’t always easy, but Jessie said she and Eric are able to just make it happen. “We stay connected,” she confirmed. “We’re best friends. We live together, we have four kids, so we don’t miss each other. We’re always together, at all times.”

Their biggest secret is “just being best friends,” she continued. “We love spending time together. We love our babies. We love our family time. We’re very normal, we really are. We’re no different than our other friends at the baseball games and flag football games. We just spend all our time together and put family first.”

As for navigating a public relationship in the spotlight, Jessie said it’s gotten easier as she’s gotten older. “You just care less,” she admitted. “You care less about a lot of things. I think when we’re all in our teens and 20s, what feels like the biggest thing in the world, it never really is.”

These days, Jessie is focused on things that bring “joy and value” to her life. “Eric and I are in a little bubble,” she explained. “Yes, we’re in the public eye and entertainment business, but I enjoy what I enjoy from it, and then I set it aside, and I focus on my family. I think that’s why I’ve been able to have a career this long and enjoy it. I enjoy what I do because I’m able to compartmentalize.”
