Who Went Home on ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8? Find Out Who Got Dumped
Love Island USA Season 8 housed quite a few Islanders in the villa for a minute there, making us wonder when the eliminations would pick up. Though the unpicked Casa Amor contestants went home, quite a few OG Islanders brought new people back. But as the finale date creeps closer, the reality dating show has finally started cracking down on the dumpings. So, who was the latest to go home in Love Island USA? (Warning: Episode 29 spoilers ahead!)
After seeing so many new twists come along, we’ve learned to expect the unexpected from Season 8. We’ve also learned that from watching the Islanders themselves — some of them are making seriously shocking moves. However, lately, most of the Islanders have settled into their couples as the finish line nears. That doesn’t mean they’re safe from being dumped. In Episode 29, it was a combination of America’s and the Islanders’ votes that sent a closed-off couple packing.

Corbin Mims & Parmida Keshani (Episode 29)
The couple dumpings have begun. Corbin Mims and Parmida Keshani got together during Casa Amor and moved quickly in their connection. Both talked frequently about how great a match they were, and their compatibility led to Corbin and Parmida deciding to close themselves off to other relationships about a week after meeting. But that couldn’t save them from America’s vote. Viewers voted for their favorite couple in an earlier episode, and Corbin and Parmida were at the bottom. Their fellow contestants had to pick whether they wanted to save them or Zach Georgiou and Kayda Bosse. Zach and Kayda won by a landslide.
Amora Robinson, Gal Tshnieder, Caleb McDaniel & Jaiden Bacciocco (Episode 27)
Gal Tshnieder didn’t have long to feel safe in the villa after beginning a new couple with fellow Casa Amor contestant Amora Robinson. After Gal didn’t pick Jen Terry, every couple on the island was instructed to vote for the two least compatible couples. As the newest couple, Gal and Amora got the most votes.
Caleb McDaniel and Jaiden Bacciocco, who coupled up during Casa Amor, were right behind them in the number of votes, so they were also dumped from the island. Caleb and Jaiden didn’t have a smooth connection. Jaiden told the girls that she wasn’t feeling Caleb, and when Caleb brought up his concern that Jaiden wasn’t interested in him, they had an explosive argument. It happened shortly before the recoupling, so their Islanders didn’t have much confidence in their connection.
Jen Terry (Episode 27)
Jen had to pack her bags when Gal, whom she brought back from Casa Amor, chose to couple up with Amora over her. It wasn’t a total surprise, at least to viewers who saw that Gal wasn’t feeling their connection. He and Jen had had some rocky conversations before he made his final decision known at the fire pit.
“I just hate men. I always say this,” Jen said earlier in the same episode of her elimination. “I say it outside of here and inside. They all f**king suck. When will it ever be my turn? It feels like it never is.”
Corey Sawyer Jr., Chaten "Chay" Nehra, & Ronnie Gunter (Episode 21)
Most of the girls decided to stay loyal to their pre-Casa partners, which forced Corey Sawyer Jr., Chaten “Chay” Nehra, and Ronnie Gunter to go home. Corey seemed to develop a strong connection with Melanie Moreno, which she admitted to, but she stuck with Sincere Rhea. It was the same case with Chay and Kayda Bosse. Kayda didn’t go further than having good conversations with Chay, staying loyal to Zach Georgiou. Ronnie chatted a bit with a few of the girls, including Jen, but didn’t form a major connection with any of them.
Sherleaz "Sydney" Eugene (Episode 21)
Sherleaz “Sydney” Eugene came in as a Casa bombshell, but she didn’t find a lasting connection. She didn’t have many days in the separate villa, but she spent the most time with Bryce Dettloff. Bryce didn’t truly explore with Sydney, deciding to stay loyal to Trinity Tatum. He didn’t bring Sydney back to the villa.
Sol Dean (Episode 14)
After Sincere Rhea recoupled with Melanie, it left Sol blindsided and in a default couple with Caleb. An episode later, the Islanders found out the results of America voting for their favorite couple: Sol was in the bottom three girls alongside Kenzie Annis and Jen. In the end, it was down to the safe boys to pick one girl to send home, and Sincere was the one to deliver the news to Sol, the group determining that the other two girls had stronger connections.
“I’m not surprised. Everyone was closed off when I came in here, so,” Sol said. “Y’all are putting me out of my misery, so thank you, if anything. It’s like Couples Island in here.”
Gabriel Vasconcelos (Episode 14)
Gabriel Vasconcelos was in a newer couple with Jen, after he was formerly partnered with the since-dumped Islander Beatriz Hatz. America voted for him to be in a couple with Jen in Episode 9, but they still weren’t the public’s favorite. They were one of the couples who received the least amount of votes, so the girls decided that out of Corbin Mims, Caleb, and Gabriel, the latter should be dumped.
“I feel like he did exactly what he was supposed to do. He did nothing wrong. I don’t think this is the place for him right now,” Melanie said, explaining that it felt like Gabriel was always waiting for a new girl.
Beatriz Hatz (Episode 9)
Beatriz was the second Islander to go home, partially because of a public vote. America voted for her partner, Gabriel, to couple up with new bombshell Jen. Melanie and Corbin were left in the same boat when America voted for their partners to pair up with the other two bombshells. As the single guy, Corbin could save one of the girls by coupling up with them. He picked Melanie, whom he chatted with the day before and had a budding connection.
Sean Reifel (Episode 5)
The first Islander of the season to head home was 29-year-old police officer Sean Reifel. He coupled up with Beatriz in the first episode, but she chose to keep exploring other connections shortly after. It led to her being stolen by bombshell Gabriel. Sean and Kenzie were both single until Episode 5’s recoupling. Bombshell Corbin picked Kenzie to couple up with. Then, the final pick was down to Trinity. Though Trinity had had a chat with Sean, she ultimately picked Bryce, whom she’s been coupled up with since Episode 1.
“I still wanted to explore the connection, but I was gonna pick Corbin,” Kenzie told the other Islanders. She added in a confessional, “It’s gonna be really hard not to see him every day.” Sean was the first Islander of Season 8 to get dumped, but he certainly won’t be the last…
