Off CampusSeason 1 may be based on Elle Kennedy’s hockey romance book series — which we’ve become more than well acquainted with since it started in 2015 — but the adaptation changed up enough things that we never knew quite what to expect. The Season 1 finale episode even introduced a bombshell twist that still has our jaws on the floor. Needless to say, we’re left with plenty of questions going into Off Campus Season 2, which has already been given the go-ahead by Prime Video.
By combining Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie’s (Mika Abdalla) The Score storyline with Garrett (Belmont Cameli) and Hannah’s (Ella Bright) The Deal, Season 1 keeps even the biggest book fans guessing. In the final moments of the season, Dean and Allie are presented with a relationship obstacle in the form of one Hunter Davenport (Charlie Evans). Hunter is definitely the show’s biggest question mark, though we have a few others that you can find below. Let us know your thoughts in the comments at the end of the page!

1. What happened between Hunter and Summer?
We can’t even look to the books for answers on this one. In Dean’s The Score, Hunter is introduced as the cocky freshman who realizes he can learn a thing or two from Dean. They have zero history before they become friends. But in the show, Hunter went to high school with Dean’s sister, Summer. He did something to Summer that made Dean hate his guts, but we have no idea what it is at this point. Hopefully, it’s all a misunderstanding, because in Kennedy’s spinoff Briar U book series, Hunter gets his own romance. Surely, the show wouldn’t make Hunter irredeemable for that reason, but who knows?

2. Would Allie have agreed to being in a relationship with Dean?
When Allie realizes that she and Dean aren’t sleeping with other people, she decides that they need to lower the stakes. Dean agrees to her “assignment” to hook up with someone else, but he realizes his feelings for Allie are too strong for him to do that. As he’s in the middle of confessing that he likes her, Allie admits to following through with the outside hookup. She tries to say it didn’t mean anything before Hunter walks in, interrupting them. Would Dean’s speech have worked? Would Allie have agreed to be in a relationship with him? Her trying to convince Dean that the hookup didn’t mean anything makes us wonder.

3. Is Dean mad at Allie for the Hunter hookup?
Dean didn’t really say anything after Allie admitted she had a one-night stand. Then, Dean went off on Hunter. But is he mad at the situation or Allie? In our humble opinion, Dean has zero right to be mad at Allie. First of all, he agreed to their “assignment.” Secondly, Allie didn’t know who Hunter was or that he had a history with Dean. We know enough about Dean by now to know that he’s emotionally intelligent, even if he (typically) avoids serious relationships. Surely he won’t hold a grudge against Allie for what happened, right?

4. Will Logan tell Hannah how he feels?
Poor Logan (Antonio Cipriano). While his best friend, Garrett, falls in love with Hannah, Logan is pining for her, too. Logan’s sibling, Jules (Julia Sarah Stone), thinks it’s just because Logan wants what he can’t have, but we aren’t so sure. But in the finale, Logan pushes his feelings aside to assure Garrett that he and Hannah are perfect together. Logan encourages Garrett to win Hannah back, and now that Garrett has opened up about his past, he and Logan are on good terms again. Does that mean Logan will swallow his feelings for Hannah? Will Hannah and Garrett notice Logan’s crush? Time will tell.

5. Will Logan stay captain of the Hawks?
This question isn’t as pressing as our relationship-related ones, but we’re still curious. In the finale, Garrett endorses Logan as the Hawks’ captain during his four-game suspension. But what about when Garrett returns to the ice? Will Garrett want the “C” back? Could it cause more drama between the two? Maybe Garrett is fine to let Logan take the reins — not being in charge will probably help him enjoy hockey more anyway.

6. Are Hannah's scholarship problems solved?
Hannah enters the pop showcase at the start of the season because her scholarship has been taken away. Hannah comes in second place in the end, so she doesn’t get the prize money. She does land a paid internship, though — is that enough to solve her problems? By the end of the season, Hannah also tells her parents about her scholarship situation, and they promise to help her figure it out. Maybe that’s enough to solve her problem. Hannah doesn’t seem worried, so it seems neither should we.
