American Idol may be over, but Brooks Rosser and Rae Boyd’s relationship is going strong! The Season 24 couple proved they’re still madly in love by sharing new photos together from a trip to Nashville this week.
Brooks and Rae were in Music City for a show on June 3. Several other Idol alums from their season also performed during the set, and many of them are also in town to promote the open American Idol auditions at CMA Fest.
Nashville is actually where Brooks and Rae first met. They both auditioned for American Idol on the same day in 2025 and formed a fast friendship, which continued through Hollywood Week.

The contestants who made the Top 30 then had several months to spend back home before the Ohana Round in Hawaii, and since Rae and Brooks live near each other in Maryland, their friendship blossomed into something more when they continued spending time together.
By the time the Live Shows began at the end of March, the two were already secretly an item. However, they didn’t go public with the relationship until after Rae’s elimination during the Top 11. The following week, they hard-launched the romance when she returned to the Idol stage to surprise Brooks after he performed in the Top 9.
Brooks also ended up getting eliminated before the finale, but the relationship continued to flourish back in Maryland. When Brooks and Rae returned to Los Angeles for the May 11 finale, cameras caught them dancing together while Brad Paisley performed. Now, they’re both gearing up for the next phase of their music careers and hoping to enjoy time as a “normal” couple, Rae previously told Swooon.
She also teased a potential future collaboration with her boyfriend. “For sure,” she said. “We will, I’m sure me and all the other contestants … I’ve made so many close relationships with these people that we’re 100% sharing stages together and recording stuff, so look out, guys.”
